Frequently Asked Questions
What to expect next
What are the next steps after submitting my inquiry?
Once your inquiry is received, a member of our team will review the details and contact you to discuss your needs further. We'll provide additional information and guide you through the first steps of our new patient screening process.
How soon can I be seen for an appointment?
Once our screening process is complete and we confirm that we're a good patient-provider fit, appointments are often available right away. The screening process typically takes 1–3 business days, and we can usually schedule your first appointment within 1–3 business days after approval. In most cases, the time from submitting your inquiry to your first appointment is less than one week.
What is the new patient screening process?
First, you'll complete our online screening form, which is personally reviewed by your provider. If it appears we are a fit, we will schedule a 15-minute provider introduction call to answer any remaining questions and make sure you're fully prepared to begin care. If everyone feels it's a good fit, we'll help you enroll in our Discovery Package and schedule your first appointment. The screening process, including the introduction call, typically takes 1–3 business days.
Do you accept insurance?
No. Clarity Integrative Psychiatry is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance. This lets us focus on personalized, integrative care rather than insurance requirements — more time understanding root causes, and treatment tailored to your unique needs rather than what a policy allows.

Meet Your Psychiatrists
Naveen Thomas, MD
Founder & Psychiatrist
Dr. Thomas is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine, where he completed his medical training before going on to complete his psychiatric residency. Early in his career, he worked across acute inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinical research, community mental health clinics, and the VA — experience that shaped his belief that conventional psychiatry often stops short of real, lasting change.
In 2015, he completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, followed by advanced training in integrative psychiatry in 2016. He founded Clarity Integrative Psychiatry to treat the whole person, not just a diagnosis — blending evidence-based medication management with an integrative understanding of nutrition, hormones, gut health, sleep, stress, and inflammation.
He works with adults navigating ADHD, anxiety and panic disorders, depression and PTSD, and hormone-related mood issues, often drawing on advanced genetic testing to guide more personalized, effective treatment decisions. Patients consistently describe him as thorough, current on the latest research, and genuinely collaborative — a provider who listens first and treats you as a partner in your own care.
Lindsay Fuson, PMHNP-BC
Provider
Lindsay is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and a graduate of Emory University School of Nursing, with eight years dedicated to mental health care. Her approach is rooted in collaboration — she believes each patient is the true expert in their own experience, bringing insight from their own history that shapes what healing actually looks like for them.
She integrates biomedical knowledge and medication management with functional lab testing, genomics, and personalized dietary and lifestyle interventions to build a plan tailored to each patient, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Lindsay works alongside Dr. Thomas on a consultation basis, focused on advanced hormonal and genetic consultations — including specialized testing and lab interpretation for patients navigating hormone-related mood issues like PMDD, perimenopause, and postpartum changes. Her work complements the core membership care plan, adding a deeper layer of expertise when hormonal or genetic factors are part of the picture.
