Margaret Ngumi, PMHNP-BC, FNP
I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of clinical experience. I take a whole-person, integrative approach to psychiatric care, looking beyond symptoms alone to understand how stress, sleep, lifestyle, physical health, and life circumstances may be affecting your mental and emotional well-being.
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood concerns, burnout, grief, and major life transitions. I have a particular interest in women’s mental health across life’s transitions and in supporting high-functioning adults who may appear to be managing well on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or stuck underneath.
My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive psychotherapy and practical lifestyle guidance. I believe meaningful progress comes from understanding the full picture of what you are experiencing and developing a treatment plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and sustainable.
I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and comfortable talking openly about what is and is not working. My goal is to help you better understand the factors contributing to how you feel and move toward greater clarity, resilience, and well-being.
I specialize in treating people identifying with the following conditions, including but not limited to:
Depression and mood disorders
Anxiety and stress-related concerns
Burnout and overwhelm
Grief and life transitions
Women’s mental health
Medication management
Sleep, stress, nutrition, and lifestyle factors
